San Ramon Valley USD Teacher Induction Program (SRVTIP)

Graduate-Level Professional Development Units/Credits for Participating Teachers and Mentors in San Ramon Valley USD Teacher Induction Program (SRVTIP)

Earn 4 graduate-level professional development semester units/credits per year, designed for salary advancement, and at a special discount available only for SRVTIP Teachers. We can also get you graduate-level professional development semester units/credits for the past year of SRVTIP participation with permission from the district office. 

Participating Teachers (PTs) – Earn 4 Graduate-Level Professional Development Units/Credits for only $150 per year!

Therefore, after two years of SRVTIP, you could earn 8 units/credits for a total low price of $300!

Mentors – Receive 4 units/credits per year for a total of 2 years, for the low price of $200/year (in lieu of your SRVTIP Mentor Stipend). 

Please note that it can take up to 6-8 weeks from the time you have been graded to receive your Unofficial Transcript.

The University of the Pacific takes great pride in offering graduate-level professional development semester units/credits to teachers for all the extra work they do.

Advance on the salary scale – Receive graduate-level professional development semester units/credits for the work you’ve already done as a SRVTIP Teacher or SRVTIP Mentor! You may register for these graduate-level professional development units/credits each year you are in SRVTIP (up to two years) – receiving 4 units/credits each year!

Participating Teachers (PTs):

P EDU 9301 – Formulative Assessment for Beginning & Experienced Teachers I, 4 units $150
P EDU 9302 – Formulative Assessment for Beginning & Experienced Teachers II, 4 units $150

Mentors:

P EDU 9282 – Mentor Standards 1, 4 units $200
P EDU 9282 – Mentor Standards 2, 4 units $200

Registration Process:

  1. Register by email or use regular mail. There is no deadline to register. You may send in your registration after you have completed your year and been cleared by SRVTIP Personnel. You will receive an email confirmation of registration, but we will HOLD your registration & grade until June and process them once we receive confirmation of your completion from Carol Mahoney at SRVTIP. 
  2. At Courses4Teachers, we understand the high quality of work required by the SRVTIP program and we are prepared to award you with a grade of “Pass.” There is no need to document further work – just complete the registration process and payment
