You may receive up to 8 units of graduate-level professional development semester units/credits, at a great discount, from the University of the Pacific for each year you participate in the Selma Unified Induction Consortium.

Depending on your district, earn 4 or 8 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits Per Year for only $50 per unit/credit!

Therefore, upon completion of two years of Induction Training you may earn 8 or 6 total units of graduate-level professional development semester units/credits! These units/credits are designed for salary advancement and to renew credentials!

Please note that it can take up to 6-8 weeks from the time you have been graded to receive your Unofficial Transcript and order your Official Transcript should you need one.

These University of the Pacific graduate-level professional development semester units/credits are designed for salary advancement and to renew credentials. They are not designed to be applied towards attainment of an advanced degree with the University of the Pacific. The University of the Pacific courses are accredited with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. These courses are accepted by districts in the U.S. Courses4Teachers/University of the Pacific takes great pride in the quality of education and service they provide. They are dedicated to helping teachers earn credit for all the extra work they do.

When to Register for Credit:
You should wait to register until after you have completed each year of Teacher Induction.

How To Register for Credit:
The registration for Teacher Induction credit at a discounted price is simple to follow. You may register by email or regular mail.

To Register by email or regular mail we will need:

  1. Registration form and payment. (Click on the appropriate Registration Form link below.) You will need to fill out one registration form for each course.
  2. Verification of Completion from your district

For Year One Completion:
If your district designates you earned 4 units/credits:
PEDU 9247 “BTSA I”, $200
If your district designate you earned a total of 8 units/credits:
PEDU 9247 “BTSA I”, $200 and an additional $200 PEDU 9248 “BTSA II”
(Note: Each course requires it’s own registration form)

For Year Two Completion:
If your district designates you earned 4 units/credits:
PEDU 9249 “BTSA III”, $200
If your district designate you earned a total of 8 units/credits:
PEDU 9249 “BTSA III”, $200 and an additional $200 PEDU 9250 “BTSA IV”
(Note: Each course requires it’s own registration form)

If your district designates you earned a total of 8 units/credits:

For Year Two Completion:
If your district designates you earned 4 units/credits:
PEDU 9284 “Mentor Standards III”, $200
If your district designates you earned a total of 8 units/credits:
PEDU 9284 “Mentor Standards III”, $200 and an additional $200 for PEDU 9285 “Mentor Standards IV”
(Note: Each course requires it’s own registration form)

Grade & Transcript Information:
We will email you confirmation of registration along with a grade confirmation letter within a few days after we receive your registration(s).

Please note that it takes 6-8 weeks should you need an Official Transcript.
