Graduate-Level Professional Development Units/Credits for Beginning & Experienced Teachers and Support Providers in BTSA/Teacher Induction Training in San Diego COE (SDCOE) Consortium

You may earn up to 8 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits, at a great discount, from the University of the Pacific for each year you completed SDCOE’s BTSA/Teacher Induction Program.

IMPORTANT: Please check with your district to ensure they will accept these units/credits for salary advancement!

You may also earn 4 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits per year for your participation as a Mentor/Support Provider.

Teachers may Earn 8 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Credits Per Year for only $400!

Therefore, upon completion of two years of BTSA/Teacher Induction you may earn a total of 16 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits!

Mentors may Earn 4 Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Credits Per Year for only $200!

As a Mentor/Support Provider you may continue to earn 4 Graduate-level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits per year for only $200 per year!

Please note that it can take up to 6-8 weeks from the time you have been graded to receive your Unofficial Transcript and order your Official Transcript should you need one.

About these credits:
These University of the Pacific Graduate-Level Professional Development Semester Units/Credits are designed for salary advancement and to renew credentials. They are not designed to be applied towards attainment of an advanced degree with the University of the Pacific. The University of the Pacific is accredited with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. These courses are accepted by districts in the U.S. Courses4Teachers/University of the Pacific takes great pride in the quality of education and service they provide. They are dedicated to helping teachers earn credit for all the extra work they do.

To Register by email or regular mail we will need:
Registration form and payment. (Click on the appropriate Registration Form link below.) You will need to fill out one registration form for each course.

You may submit your registration for university credit at any time after completing BTSA/Teacher Induction for the year. We will email you confirmation of registration shortly after we receive it.

Once Courses4Teachers receives confirmation of your completion, from SDCOE’s BTSA/Teacher Induction Program, your registration, payment and grade will be processed. At this time we will email you a grade confirmation letter(s) around the second week of June. Grades are on a “pass/no pass” basis.

NOTE: Please check with your district human resources division to ensure units/credits will be accepted.

PEDU 9248, BTSA II – 4 graduate level professional development semester units/credits

Year Two:
PEDU 9249, BTSA III – 4 graduate level professional development semester units/credits
PEDU 9250, BTSA IV – 4 graduate level professional development semester units/credits

PEDU 9282, Year One: Mentor Standards 1 – 4 graduate level professional development semester units/credits
PEDU 9383, Year Two: Mentor Standards 2 – 4 graduate level professional development semester units/credits
PEDU 9284, Year Three: Mentor Standards 3 – 4 graduate level professional development semester units/credits
PEDU 9285, Year Four: Mentor Standards 4 – 4 graduate level professional development semester units/credits

There is no deadline for registering for credit for the BTSA/Teacher Induction year.

Please note that it can take up to 6-8 weeks should you need an Official Transcript.
